From Alpha Academy learners
- Name entered for certificate generation (stored locally in your browser only — not on our servers)
- Progress data stored in your browser's local storage
From all website visitors
- Standard web analytics data (page views, referring URL, browser type) — collected anonymously through Hostinger's server logs
- No tracking cookies are set by AVS without your acknowledgement
2. How We Use Your Personal Information
- Client inquiries: To respond to your inquiry, schedule a discovery call, and provide information about AVS services
- Talent placement: To assess your application, conduct vetting stages, match you with client roles, and manage the placement process
- 60-Day Happiness Guarantee support: To evaluate and process replacement search requests within the guarantee window
- Alpha Academy: To deliver free training content and issue certificates of completion
- Community partnerships: To evaluate and manage community partnership applications (barangays, NGOs, LGUs)
- Internal operations: To maintain accurate records, issue invoices, and manage payments
- Legal compliance: To meet our obligations under Philippine law including the Data Privacy Act and related regulations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data under the following legal bases as recognized by the Philippine Data Privacy Act:
- Contract performance: Processing necessary to fulfill our service agreements with clients and placement agreements with specialists
- Consent: When you submit a form or application on our website, you consent to AVS processing your information for the purposes stated at the point of collection

4. How We Store and Protect Your Information
- Form submissions: Processed through Web3Forms (web3forms.com) and delivered to secured AVS email accounts. Web3Forms does not store your data long-term.
- Candidate records: Stored in access-controlled Google Drive folders (Google Workspace) accessible only to authorized AVS team members (Alpha Virtual Solutions and Alexander Relente, COO)
- Email communications: Stored in secured Gmail accounts with two-factor authentication
- Vetting assessments: Stored locally in your browser's localStorage (AVS Vetting Hub) and/or in secured Google Sheets accessible only to AVS team members
- Payments: Processed through Wise Business and Wave. AVS does not store credit card or banking details directly.
We use reasonable security measures appropriate to the sensitivity and volume of data we handle. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. If you suspect a data breach affecting your information, contact us immediately at connect@alphavirtuals.net.
5. How Long We Keep Your Information
- Client records: Duration of the client relationship plus 3 years after the last transaction
- Candidate records: Duration of active pool membership plus 2 years. Declined candidates: 1 year, then deleted.
- Placed specialists: Duration of placement plus 3 years
- Contact form submissions (non-clients): 6 months, then deleted
- Alpha Academy progress data: Stored in your browser's local storage; cleared when you clear your browser data
6. Your Rights Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act
As a data subject, you have the following rights under RA 10173:
- Right to be informed: To know what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
- Right to access: To request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification: To have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected

7. Cookies and Browser Storage
Our website uses minimal browser storage technology:
- localStorage: Used to save your Alpha Academy curriculum progress, certificate name, and privacy acknowledgement. This data is stored only in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear it by clearing your browser data.
- Cookies: AVS does not set tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Standard session cookies may be set by your browser for normal website function.
- Third-party embeds: Our website links to Facebook and YouTube (for community and content). Visiting those links is subject to their respective privacy policies.
8. Third Parties We Work With
- Web3Forms (web3forms.com): Processes contact form submissions. Data is transmitted to our email and not stored by Web3Forms beyond delivery.
- Google (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Workspace): Email hosting and document storage. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
- Wise Business: International payment processing. Subject to Wise's privacy policy.
- Wave (waveapps.com): Invoicing and accounting. Subject to Wave's privacy policy.
- Hostinger: Website hosting. Subject to Hostinger's privacy policy.
- Zoom: Video calls for discovery calls and screening interviews. Subject to Zoom's privacy policy.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults (18 years and older) and professional organizations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us immediately at connect@alphavirtuals.net.
